The Anxious Generation Book Club

One of the reasons why I run book clubs is to encourage long-form reading, peer support & role modelling; when our children see us reading books and discussing our learning with them, they benefit too.
So join me over Zoom this month for the book club to discuss this important book that covers:
- what our children need to thrive as human beings;
- how four foundational harms are impacting them;
- why social media harms girls more than boys, and what is happening to boys; and
- how we can take a whole-of-society approach to avoid raising an anxious generation & help our future generations have better mental health.
I will also bring local research into the discussions so as to balance with the statistics from Western countries presented in the book. Will also talk about AI and its impact on our children, which is not covered in the book.
Even if you don't have time to get the book nor read the book, can just come to discuss as I will be giving summaries of the assigned chapters at the start of every session.
