Final Time as Mums@SGFamilies Toastmasters Club President

It had been a whirlwind week. My long to-do list could hardly be cleared as more and new things piled up.

I had been wondering how I would cope. What are the things that I can drop so that I have capacity for more?

I scanned my many plates and didn't have time to evaluate properly. Then tonight came.

My final time closing the chapter meeting of the Mums@SGFamilies Toastmasters Club as a Club President. It had been a great year pioneering the only Toastmasters Club for mothers in Singapore, supporting other mothers and always hearing how the mothers appreciate a safe space to share their stories and hone their communication skills.

What a joy it had been to serve with amazing mothers who dared to dream and pioneer with me to get the club going through the year.

I will continue to serve in the Exco, even though I am no longer the Club President. I hope to encourage more mothers to be part of a safe and supportive community.
